When Love becomes “Distance”

Distance

By LauraLME ©

Passing through the streets of life,
Grazing the infinity,
We keep our distance.
Flames are burning in our memory.
I close my eyes
I still see you and me,
Proudly sparking of our own light,
Once winners, luminescent heroes!
A quilt descended on us breeding silence
We lost our voices,
Taken by the wind of sorrow,
Regret will swallow us,
Hate will follow.
Run! Run my love!
Take my hand,
kill regret, destroy hate,
escape the sorrow,
we will be born again,
in the name of hope…
in the spirit of tomorrow.

  1. Wow.

A quilt descended on us breeding silence
    We lost our voices,
Taken by the wind of sorrow

Laura you have done it again. Such an artist, stroking the pages of life with your words, dipping ocasionally for colors to astound your message, then stroking again, emerging with a chronicle of hope.

You make the journey into poetry so exciting and vibrant!
Thank you, a thousand times over, thank you!
